Casting Certification - This online course explores the Casting Workbook platform (both on-camera and voice) and features 36 short learning videos divided into 6 units. Each unit has a required quiz that you must score a minimum of 90% on in order to move forward. This course must be completed within 45 days in order for the participant to receive CWB Certification. 1-Step Closer to Verified Casting Director Status

Graduates of this online course only require one verified reference from a CWB or industry recognized Talent Agent/Manager to be upgraded to Verified Casting Director status. Verified Casting Directors have full access to the Casting Workbook system including talent searches, virtual casting sessions, teamshares, mastercast and SAM. (Graduates must apply for Verified status within 12 months of becoming certified).

Certified Casting Assistant List on Casting Workbook

Casting Assistants who are CWB certified can be promoted inside the Casting Workbook site and appear on our Certified Casting Assistant contact list for the period of 1 year. This may lead to employment opportunities. Your name and city may also appear in other Casting Workbook social media posts.

Glenn Douglas Hall has worked in the entertainment industry for over 40 years starting out as an actor, stand in & background performer after which he transitioned to become a talent agent for film, TV and theater. He has worked at Casting Workbook for over 25 years supporting our actor, casting and agent clients one on one and through webinars. Glenn has a certificate in Training Adults from George Brown College, Toronto, a certificate in Digital Marketing Management from University of Toronto, and is a Certified Professional Coach Practitioner registered with the International Coach Federation. He is a regular lecturer at over 20 Colleges, Universities and Acting Schools across Canada, serves on the professional advisory committee at Niagara College and Seneca College and is asked regularly to speak at ACTRA Member Conferences and the Reelworld Film Festival Black Entrepreneurs Program.
