Trevor Hodgson

Senior Business Affairs Executive, First Look Media

Trevor Hodgson has provided executive producing, producing and business affairs services on more than 75 non-scripted and 10 scripted projects. His experience spans dramatic feature films, television scripted and unscripted series, and animated features and series. Trevor most recently produced The Oland Murder, a true crime documentary series for CBC and executive produced the series Rust Valley Restorers for History Television. His past productions include Eat St., Yukon Gold, Timber Kings, Cold Water Cowboys, and Chopped Canada.

Sarah Nathanson

General Counsel, Thunderbird Entertainment

Sarah Nathanson has been practising entertainment law for close to 15 years in both private practise and in-house. As General Counsel at Thunderbird Entertainment, a publicly traded content company that makes animation, scripted and factual shows for all platforms, Sarah has worked on structuring and financing international co-productions, co-ventures, Canadian content and service shows. She is currently co-chair of the CMPA BC Branch Council, Vice-Chair of the Animation and Visual Effects Alliance and a member of the Board of Directors of DigiBC. Her kids think she actually makes the cartoons they watch on screens and therefore she’s the coolest mom ever, please don’t tell them what lawyers really do for a few more years.
